Chuck Norris was in town today, and i did not get to meet him. i didn't even know he was in town until after the fact. my friend stacey got to meet him & he autographed pictures for her kids!!! because i'm disappointed that he was so close and i didn't get to meet him, i am including three of my favorite Chuck Norris quotes. : )

so, other than that disappointment, today was pretty good. busy, crazy busy! i made it to my 8 o'clock meeting, then had an afternoon meeting, and had lots of interesting problems to solve! : )
after work, i ran home quick & then met becca & nate at village inn. we were gonna go to olive tree, but thought VI would be more nate-friendly. : ) it was good - i hadn't been to VI in awhile! i had a grown up grilled cheese. mmmm! no pictures of that (bad food blogger!), but i did take this cute one...
it was nice to hang out & nate is adorable! he & leyton are like a month apart. : )
i also got a lovely postcard from a 4th grader in indiana!
that's really all i have about today. can't believe i missed chuck! hope you all are set to have a great weekend! my friends mel & shawn are getting married tomorrow & i really hope the weather goes around us so they have a NICE wedding day!! also, mom's taking jen & the boys to arizona for their week-long vacation. hope they have fun & a SAFE trip!! : )
oh! i did watch the second episode of america's got talent & it was really good! howie mandell is seriously a great addition to this show, i think. so far he & piers seem to get along, even, which i love!
