happy mama's day to all!

i have a mama.  i love her very much.  we haven't always gotten along, but much better now.  death does funny things to relationships sometimes, i guess.  when we lived in the same house, we didn't see much of each other.  i may actually spend more quality time with her now that we have our own spaces!  i miss her when i don't see her during the week.  sometimes i call her just to talk - of course, she is still not really the "just to talk" kinda person, so we usually end up w/ the "how are you?  fine.  how are you?  fine.  okay.  love you.  love you, too, bye." 

i do believe she loves me.  she's just... high strung.  *laugh*  but doesn't think she is.  so... yeah. 

when things are good, tho, they're very good, and i love to hang out with her!  we have fun going to movies and dinner and hanging out w/ leyton.  : )  she is an awesome grandma to anthony & leyton, and she loves them very very much, never any doubt about that!! 

i'm also very blessed to have honorary mamas, including my omaha mama. 

she makes me smile!  : ) 

i, of course, am not a traditional mama.  but i do have a mother's heart.  it's a heart for ppl, in general.  and, of course, i also am a kitty mama.  : )  i can't upload a picture at the moment because my computer is being goofy, but i'll try to edit one in later.  (i'm USUALLY a good kitty mama!)

anyway, i hope you have a good mother's day, every day.  : )
