got bret off to work okay & myself to work okay. worked on vacations almost all morning, along w/ some timecard troubleshooting. wooot! *laugh* it was salmon day in the cafeteria, so i stayed for lunch & then headed ... awayyyy. : )
my plan was to run some errands & then pick up erin. however, i decided to just come home & chillax for an hour or so. watched friday's GH. WOWZERS! read a couple bloggity blogs. hooray!
picked erin up around 3. we went to red robin for linner. they have happy hour specials from 3-5, so i got some onion rings for $5! woot! also some jalepeno chips, which i thought would be like poppers only in chip form, but they weren't. i only ate a couple of them. i did not really care for them! i had a cup of delicious clam chowder (chowdah, LOL) and ice water w/ lemon to round out my meal. mmm! erin had a bacon cheeseburger & yummy fries. we chatted & had a nice time! our waiter was a card, too. he brought erin's coke, and she tasted it & thought it tasted diet. i tasted it & thought it tasted like weird diet. so when he came back, she let him know & he was like, "dang it! i didn't let it run long enough!" apparently, some wise-acre had decided to switch the tubes and so the coke dispenser was giving out diet & vice versa.
(pause to speak as a diabetic here - for the coke dispenser to be attached to diet coke is no big deal. but for the diet coke dispenser to be attached to the coke? potentially VERY big deal! so, if it was just an accident, okay. glad no one was hurt. if it was a deliberate "joke" or something along those lines, i hope management talked to whomever was "playing!")
anyway, after linner we headed over to the BP for a pepsi & then to the theatre. got there right in time to see Just Go With It (again for me)! i also got a Beastly button by donating $2 to March of Dimes or whatever it is the theatre supports. Will Rogers Foundation? are they the same thing? so the movie was as hilarious the 2nd time around. lots of laughter!! adam sandler, i really do like you & sometimes it doesn't even have to do w/ the fact that you look like shane & i had a crush on him for years. : )
so... after the movie erin & i just hung out chatting about important life stuff for awhile. we stopped at the bucks & i got a skinny vanilla latte frappuccino. yum-yumminess!
then home to read some mail (QCCS fund-raising banquet at homewood on march 5th if any former Eagles would like to attend; postcrossing from switzerland; bill from somebody...) and watch some Degrassi w/ bret & then play here for a bit!
but now it's 11 pm & 6 am is going to come too fast, so have a great night & tomorrow! ttfn!
